Milken Institute School of Public Health - Dual Degree Application

    Loading...
Current GW undergraduate students in good academic standing who are interested in earning a graduate degree through a GWSPH dual degree program may apply using this form. Dual degree students complete both an undergraduate and a graduate degree (MPH or MS) more efficiently and at a lower cost than completing them separately. Before applying, speak with your academic advisor and review the full program details on the GWSPH Dual Degrees page.

    Please Note
    • The application deadline is June 15. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
    • Submission of this form does not guarantee admission. All programs are selective and dependent on space available.
    • Admission is conditional until you earn a B or higher in all required crossover courses.
    • This form is only for current GW undergraduates. If you have already completed your bachelor’s degree, apply through the main GWSPH application portal.
    • Only one application is permitted.

    Application Requirements

A complete application includes the following:
    1. Personal statement
    2. Letters of Recommendation
    • MS - One recommendation from a GW faculty member.
    • MPH - Two recommendations.
    • Add recommender information via the status portal after submitting your application
    • Recommenders may upload either a recommendation letter/document or the completed Recommendation Form.  NOTE: Applicants must provide the Recommendation Form directly to each recommender.
    • Recommenders should submit their letter directly through the application system. Materials submitted by the applicant will not be considered.
    1. Your resumé
    2. Your GWU transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)
    3. GRE scores (optional) – Standardized test scores are not required for admission, but applicants may submit them if they feel the scores strengthen their application.
